Angel’s Landing
Angel’s Landing
Thirteen-year-old Ricky Atwell is going to tour the southwestern United States for eight weeks with the West Wind Summer Traveling Camp.
During the summer long journey, Ricky will experience a boy’s dream of adventure. While visiting many famous national parks like Zion, Grand Canyon, Rocky Mountain, and other famous landmarks like the St. Louis Arch, he will encounter severe storms, flash floods, bears, tarantulas, desert heat, summer snow, the complete darkness of a cave, and the buoyancy of salt water.
Ricky must also deal with his fears, especially of heights, all the while trying to fit in with a group of wealthy teens. In the end, he must confront his fears in order to save lives.
